Wendy Sikes Clark
I have some wonderful memories of 800 Bouzidon... Even though we haven't gotten to visit often... We always felt welcome and at home... Sharon always went out of her way to make sure of that. The last time we were there was a very sad time, we had come back to Oklahoma to bring Foy's (Daverne's) remains for a memorial service for the family. Sharon asked us to stay there with her and she wouldn't have it any other way. She made a very difficult time, a time of laughter along with the tears.. We stayed up for hours talking...We heard so many stories of them growing up together and we were surrounded by so many loved ones in her living room there were no places left to sit, but we all improvised and were comfortable...and of course, she fed all of us... King ranch casserole... Love it! We stayed for a few days and had to get back to Tennessee, but it felt like home. Your momma is one of the sweetest ladies I've ever met and I'm so proud to call her family. I can't believe she is my father in laws cousin...I feel so close to her and love her so much!
